People Farming Environment

Welcome to Moss Peteral, 1100 acres of moorland, meadow and mire, in Northumberland National Park, just north of Hadrian's Wall.

The grazing land supports several hundred hardy sheep and a dozen beautiful white cows. The wetland is a valued habitat particularly important for wading birds.
The house is home to Sue and Alan - and to others, often with support needs, who stay awhile and share in the tasks and joys of farm life.
