WWOOF - World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms

WWOOFing is an exchange where WWOOFers give their labour, helping out on farms, and the host farmers share their experience and skills, and provide food and accommodation for their visitors. WWOOF started in the UK, over 40 years ago, and there are now host farms and WWOOFers all over the world.

Moss Peteral, like many WWOOF host farms is not a certified organic farm, but is managed to the more pragmatic principles - health, ecology, fairness and care - of the International Federation of Organic Movements (IFOAM). Our Higher Level Stewardship Agreement monitors our agricultural activities and ensures that sound ecological principles, in particular, are at the centre of our farming practice.

We believe that our work with vulnerable adults, supported holidays and student placements, sits very well with hosting WWOOF volunteers but at times we may only be able to take WWOOFers with DBS (formerly CRB) checks.

To visit Moss Peteral as a WWOOFer you need to be a member of WWOOF UK
